Food Waste Caddy 7LTR

Food Waste Caddy, 7 Litre Kitchen Bin

This 7 litre food waste caddy is a simple way to keep everyday food scraps separate, contained and easy to deal with, whether you’re collecting for council food waste collection or home composting. It’s designed to sit conveniently on a kitchen worktop, be tucked under the sink, or kept beside the main bin, giving you a dedicated spot for peelings, fruit and vegetable scraps, tea bags, coffee grounds, eggshells and general food leftovers.

Where to Use It in Your Kitchen

The wide aperture on this caddy makes it quick to scrape plates and chopping boards straight in, while the lockable handle keeps the lid secure between uses so contents and any odours stay contained until you’re ready to empty it into your outdoor caddy or council collection bin. Away from the kitchen, it also works well for storing pet food or bird seed.

A Cleaner Kitchen, Day to Day

Separating food waste into its own container helps keep the rest of your kitchen cleaner. Food scraps are one of the main causes of smells, staining and fruit flies in a general waste bin, so moving them into their own sealed, regularly emptied caddy reduces odours and the risk of pests, and means your main kitchen bin stays fresher for longer between bag changes. The smooth interior and dishwasher-safe design also make it quick and hygienic to rinse out.
