Sugarcane’s story is truly extraordinary. Once matured, the cane is cut and sent to the mill, where it’s pressed for its sugar juice. While this juice becomes the sugar we enjoy daily, it leaves behind bagasse and cane, once a source of toxic “black snow” from burning. We’ve turned this waste into a beautiful solution creating paper products for the world.
Most white paper hand towels today are produced from the lovely pine tree, these trees take around 25 years to grow but are then destroyed to create the napkin you once bought. Our sugarcane napkins deliver exactly the same quality and performance but are harvested from a waste product.
For every carton you purchase, you have joined us in the fight against deforestation and we also go a step further by planting a fruit tree in Malawi, Africa. Partnering with Ripple Africa we help communities grow their own fruit and feed their families.
